How it works

Instead of building custom code within Dynamics 365, Rapid Connect works with an external integration layer. This means we maintain the complexity outside your ERP system, making it easier to manage, extend and customize integrations.

 

A bit more technical: Rapid Connect uses a generic engine within D365FO, which allows all entities and tables to be filled in automatically based on the integration message. In addition, functions can be called directly to further process the data.   Anything that a user might do manually can now be fully automated via the integration message. Easy, efficient and without customization.

Importing data

Whether it is orders from a web shop, sales invoices from an external application or inventory updates from a warehouse system, after transforming the source message, the data is automatically processed in D365FO.

Exporting data

Define your own query and link it to an events in Dynamics and thus realize your outbound integration messages without code.

For asynchronous processes and large volumes, process the data via standard D365FO batch processing. Or process the data in real time, exactly when your processes require it.

What makes Rapid Connect different from traditional custom integrations?

Rapid Connect works completely without customization in Dynamics 365. The solution is combined with modern cloud technology and proven integration strategies and patterns, such as loose coupling. This means you don’t need expensive developers and D365FO stays ‘clean’.

 

We combine proven solutions inside and outside D365FO into one easy-to-use solution. Our generic engine not only processes the data, but also automatically executes functionalities for further processing. This makes customization no longer necessary and maintains maximum flexibility.

In theory this is possible, but not always desirable from an integration perspective. Functions must be called with the correct parameters to work correctly, incorrect usage can lead to corrupt data. Therefore, we only make those functions available     that are relevant to the integrations and have been validated by us. In this way, we guarantee reliable operations.

Rapid Connect supports interfaces to e-commerce platforms, ERP and CRM systems, warehouse software and financial tools. Anything that generates data can be integrated.

Thanks to ready-to-use templates, an integration can be done in a few days or weeks, rather than the months it takes with traditional custom solutions.

Traditional integrations with D365FO often require a lot of customization to process data. With Rapid Connect, that’s not necessary. All you have to do is send a JSON message to the Interface Document API. The rest is handled automatically.

 

Message transformation is done in the tools best suited for it. We offer this service through Azure Integration Services, but if you’re already working with Boomi, Tibco, MuleSoft or Power Automate, for example, you can just keep using those.

No, it is not mandatory. We offer these services, but you can also perform the transformations yourself or leave them to a specialized partner. We are used to working with different parties and can provide support where needed. You decide what works best for your organization.

No, Rapid Connect has an intuitive user interface that allows you to monitor and manage integrations yourself. If you opt for full outsourcing, we will monitor and manage your integrations in Rapid Connect.
